Bear down Chicago Bears.............Make every play clear the way to the SUPERBOWL!!

A bunch of Fairbanksans (including a New Orleans fan) joined me at my apartment to watch the Bears beat the Saints. There were discussions of a road trip to Miami, but we would have needed to leave after the game to make it to Florida by Feb 4.

Rumors circulated prior to game day that my cat, Genghis, was a Saints fan. He wore a Chicago Bears belt to show his true colors:)

Happy New Year!! After a fabulously refreshing vacation in Chicago with my family, I returned safely to Fairbanks on January 8th. Unlike Chicago, Fairbanks has lots of snow and cold. I missed the fluffy white stuff and my fluffy cat, so I'm glad to be back in Alaska to continue my work with Americorps.
